Steelhorse Freight Services Inc.  is a Canadian owned Company incorporated in July 2000 to serve the needs of customers who require transportation of goods.  The founding members are Rod and Leanne Vatcher who have been in the transportation industry for a combined 40 years.  Steelhorse started its operation with one truck running between Calgary and Edmonton, as of November 2006 we have 35 tractors and 40 trailers.  Our Head Office is located in High River, Alberta Canada our building has an office, shop and wash bay.  Steelhorse Freight Services employs approximately 50 people who are continually looking to provide innovative solutions for our customer's and will go the "extra mile" to ensure our customers needs are being met.  

Steelhorse has and will continue to focus its efforts in the North American market to maintain and expand our knowledge of the market and to continue to understand the changing needs of our customers.  45% of our customers are oilfield supply therefore our knowledge of moving rigs, equipment, pipe and virtually all oilfield equipment is second to none.   We have our own pilot car service for oversize loads and permit all our loads to ensure efficient, safe, cost effective delivery.
